Power Play with Tom Clark

Power Play with Tom Clark takes a fresh look at politics, politicians and plays for power. Weekdays at 5pm ET / 8pm PT

Power Play is the political show of record for Canadians, complete with a new look and fresh new take on political reporting. Every day from Monday to Friday, Clark cuts through the rhetoric and highlights the people and players that dominate the political scene in Canada.

Online, at CTV.ca, viewers can catch episodes they've missed on the CTV Video Player.

"Working on POWER PLAY is a fantastic new adventure for me," said Tom Clark. "The political scene in Ottawa is such a fascinating and dramatic place and this new show will illustrate just how exciting it is on Parliament Hill."

In addition to delivering the breaking news from Parliament Hill that political junkies have come to expect from CTV Newsnet, Power Play with Tom Clark has numerous segments including "Hill to Hill." This  feature expands on Clark's experience as CTV's Washington Bureau Chief with an in-depth look at Canada-U.S. relations. Currently no other television show in Canada provides regular in-depth coverage of this critical issue.

Want to know what MPs are really doing in Ottawa? In "Private Members", Clark highlights MPs from across the country, including their accomplishments, the many but largely ignored private members bills, fascinating personal stories and those MPs who make contributions to their communities that largely go unnoticed.

In "Coast to Coast to Coast", Clark focuses on political voices from across the country with a look at what has people talking outside of Ottawa. "Ottawa Confidential" examines the fun side of Ottawa including the parties, the gossip and the social circles most people know nothing about.

"Your Tax Dollars at Work" looks at the more absurd ways in which taxes are spent. Finally, "Say Whaaa..?" showcases some of the weird and bizarre utterings from our public officials.
